A UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to José Clemente Orozco's fresco cycle Man of Fire painted on the domes and walls of the neoclassical orphanage chapel — considered the greatest work of Mexican muralism and Orozco's artistic masterpiece. The effect of Orozco's apocalyptic fire imagery painted directly onto the curved surfaces of the dome, experienced while lying on the specially provided floor cushions, is among the most overwhelming art experiences in the Americas.
