Tegallalang Rice Terraces showcase ancient Balinese subak irrigation in sculpted tiers dating to the 9th century, a UNESCO-recognised system still feeding Ubud's farms today. Unlike Sunrise Trek on Mount Batur, which demands a pre-dawn start, this experience unfolds gently along 3 kilometres of shaded pathways with minimal elevation change, each terrace dropping about 1.5 metres per level.
