Zhuilu Old Trail
Zhuilu Old Trail is a cliffside path carved 500 m above the Liwu River in Taroko Gorge — breathtaking and exposed. Unlike Yushan's restrictive daily quota system, this trail requires only a simple permit, allowing more spontaneous planning. The narrow ledge, just 1 m wide in places, offers vertigo-inducing views that rival any walkway in the world. About 4 km long, it takes most hikers 5–6 hours to complete with safety gear.
