Jiaming Lake Trail

Jiaming Lake Trail is a multi-day trek to a high-altitude alpine lake nicknamed the Angel's Teardrop. At 3,310 m, the lake sits 15% lower than Yushan's summit but still above the clouds, reflecting the sky in crystal clarity. The trail stretches 13 km one way, with three mountain huts for overnight stays. It's a tougher endurance hike than the shorter Zhuilu Old Trail, demanding two full days of steady climbing through rhododendron forests and scree slopes.
