Singapore
Singapore's hawker culture became the first food tradition listed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2020. The city-state has two Michelin-starred hawker stalls — Hawker Chan (chicken rice, SGD $2) and Hill Street Tai Hwa (bak chor mee) — making it the only place in the world where Michelin stars and street prices coexist.
