The city has secured €250 million in EU Horizon grants since 2022, a 25% higher success rate than the average Dutch applicant. This hub is 50% cheaper than #8 Enschede for office space, attracting 30 new hydrogen startups annually. Its Energy Academy Europe has incubated 120+ cleantech firms, each generating an average €2.3 million in revenue within four years.
