Blue Lizard Sport Mineral SPF 50 is a mineral sunscreen with Titanium Dioxide 8% and Zinc Oxide 10% as its active ingredients. Mineral filters like these are generally considered photostable, meaning they do not degrade in sunlight the way some chemical filters can. The formula meets the FDA's 80-minute water-resistance maximum and is oxybenzone-free, octinoxate-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and vegan. It also features Blue Lizard's Smart Cap, which changes color in UV light as a reapplication reminder. Like most mineral sunscreens with this level of zinc oxide, it can leave a noticeable white cast, which is more visible on deeper skin tones.
