Mireia Belmonte, Spain's most decorated Olympic swimmer, captured gold at Rio 2016 in the 200m butterfly with a time of 2:04.85, setting a new Olympic record. Her career total of six Olympic medals—more than any other Spanish swimmer—includes four from a single Games in 2016 alone.
