Regino Hernandez

Regino Hernandez won Spain's first ever Olympic medal in snowboard when he claimed bronze in the snowboard cross at the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. A pioneering figure in Spanish snow sports, Hernandez had competed at multiple Winter Olympic Games and World Cup circuits before his medal breakthrough. His PyeongChang bronze opened a new chapter in Spanish winter sports history and inspired a new generation of snowboarders. He continued competing at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
