Mireia Belmonte

Mireia Belmonte is Spain's most decorated Olympic swimmer, thanks to her gold medal in the 200m butterfly at Rio 2016. Her 2:04.85 finish there outpaced the field by over a second, a margin that outdoes David Cal’s closest gold win. She also earned silver at London 2012 in both the 200m butterfly and 800m freestyle, and added world titles in Barcelona 2013 across breaststroke and butterfly.
