Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso won back-to-back World Championships with Renault in 2005 and 2006, ending Michael Schumacher's run and becoming, at 24, the youngest champion to that point. Born in Oviedo, he debuted with Minardi in 2001 and has since driven for Renault, McLaren, Ferrari, Alpine and Aston Martin, passing 400 Grand Prix starts. He also won Le Mans in 2018 and 2019 with Toyota.
