Real Betis

Seville's other giant, Real Betis play in green-and-white at the Benito Villamarín in front of some of Spain's most passionate fans. Founded in 1907, the club has won the Copa del Rey three times (1977, 2005, and 2022), the most recent coming under Manuel Pellegrini. The fierce Seville derby against Sevilla FC is one of Spanish football's most heated local rivalries, and Betis have become a regular fixture in European competition in recent seasons.
