Bad Ems
Bad Ems offers a UNESCO-protected thermal heritage dating back to Roman times, with 16 natural springs delivering 54°C mineral water directly from over 1,000 meters underground. The Emser Therme recycles 2.3 million liters of thermal water daily, making it 20% more efficient in water reuse than Bad Wildbad's Palais Thermal. It outranks Bad Reichenhall in documentary history due to its intact 19th-century Kurhaus and along the Lahn River, where guests can book guided tours of the source springs at a cost of just €12 per person.
