$100M from Vitamin Water. Power empire on Starz. Hustle incarnate.
Curtis Jackson's real empire isn't music — it's television. Power on Starz became the network's highest-rated show and spawned four spinoffs. His G-Unit Film & Television company has produced over a dozen shows. But the legendary move was his Vitamin Water investment: 50 Cent received a minority stake instead of a cash endorsement, and when Coca-Cola acquired the brand for $4.1 billion in 2007, his cut was an estimated $100 million. He earned more from flavored water than from "In Da Club," which sold 8 million copies.
