Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds
Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds features 36 steep-sided domes rising nearly 200 metres above the desert, dwarfing nearby Uluru in sheer volume. The 7.4-kilometre circuit climbs 300 steps to Karingana Lookout, where layered conglomerate rock formed 550 million years ago is visible.
