Masha and the Bear's "Recipe for Disaster" episode has racked up 4.8 billion views on the strength of something almost embarrassingly simple: a girl making a mess in a kitchen, with next to no dialogue required to follow along. It's a Russian production, but the wordless slapstick travels anywhere a screen does. Among the animated entries here, it's the one built least on branding and most on a single reliably funny bit.
