Museo Nacional del Prado
Designed by neoclassical architect Juan de Villanueva in 1785, the museum is located along the Paseo del Prado, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape in 2021. It opened to the public for the first time in November 1819. The museum is located in central Madrid. It houses collections of European art dating from the 12th century to the early 20th century.
