SoFi Stadium, completed in 2020 at a cost of $5.5 billion, is the most expensive stadium ever built. Designed by HKS Architects, it seats 70,240 spectators under a translucent ETFE roof — the first fully enclosed, climate-controlled outdoor NFL stadium. The 6,000-square-metre video board is the world's largest in a sports venue.
