Krafton's PUBG went free-to-play in 2022 and reached 75 million monthly active players across PC and mobile combined by 2025, including the separately developed PUBG Mobile which topped 100 million daily active users in Asia. The original battle royale remained dominant in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
