LawBreakers

LawBreakers failed to gain traction despite its pedigree. Cliff Bleszinski's 2017 arena shooter launched at $30, but its peak concurrent players on Steam plummeted to single digits within months, leading to Boss Key Productions' closure in 2018. This is a steeper decline than Babylon's Fall, which at least maintained a tiny but stable player base before its shutdown. The game's identity crisis—neither as polished as Overwatch nor as generous as the free-to-play Paladins—left it with no audience, resulting in a commercial failure that cost an estimated $30 million.
