Annie Leibovitz

American portrait photographer (born 1949) known for her dramatic, elaborately staged celebrity portraits for Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and Vogue. Her 1980 photograph of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, taken hours before his death, became one of the most famous magazine covers ever, with Time magazine calling it the #2 most iconic cover of all time. Named a Living Legend by the Library of Congress in 2000. Her portraits command fees 50% higher than the average for top commercial photographers.
