Angel Falls holds the world's highest uninterrupted plunge at 979 meters, dropping from Auyán-tepui in Canaima National Park. A 2023 LiDAR survey confirmed this height, which is over 90 meters higher than the second-highest continuous drop, Tugela Falls. The water atomizes into mist before reaching the base, creating a ghostly effect unseen elsewhere on this list.
