AI radiology tools from Aidoc, Rad AI, and Google's AMIE were deployed in 1,200+ hospitals in 2025, automatically flagging critical findings (pulmonary embolism, intracranial hemorrhage, pneumothorax) in CT and MRI scans for prioritization. Studies published in The Lancet showed AI triage reduced time-to-treatment for stroke patients by 32 minutes on average, directly saving lives in time-sensitive neurological emergencies.
