Action Comics #1 — $3.25 million (2021)

The first appearance of Superman in 1938 sold for $3.25 million at Heritage Auctions — the most ever paid for a comic book. Only around 100 copies are known to survive from the original print run, and the CGC 8.5-graded copy represents the finest regularly traded Superman #1 in existence.
