Cloud security startup Wiz reached $500 million in ARR faster than any enterprise software company in history, growing from $0 to $500M in just four years after its 2020 founding. Google attempted to acquire Wiz for $23 billion in 2024 — which would have been the largest cybersecurity acquisition ever — but Wiz declined to pursue an IPO. It raised $1 billion in 2024 at a $12 billion valuation.
