Completely undeveloped. No bars, no loungers. Sea turtles nest here. Sand squeaks underfoot.
Playa Paraiso (Paradise Beach) sits near the western end of Cayo Largo del Sur, a small island off Cuba's southern coast accessible by a short domestic flight. The beach is undeveloped — no bars, no loungers for hire, no commerce of any kind — just kilometres of white sand so pure it squeak-crunches underfoot, water between 25–28°C, and a horizon entirely unobstructed by resort infrastructure. Sea turtles nest on the eastern end of the beach between May and October. Best visited November through April for the clearest skies and calmest seas.
