Messi, Mbappé or Klose? Top 10 World Cup Goalscorers

Top 10 Men's FIFA World Cup Goalscorers (2026): picked and ranked by our editors, and open to your votes. How we ranked this: Players are ranked by men's FIFA World Cup finals goals after the 2026 tournament, as listed by worldfootball.net and Opta Analyst on 20 July 2026 and by Wikipedia as of 19 July 2026. Ties on goals are broken by goals per match. Comparison scores are scaled 0-10 against the best value in this list: goals divided by 22, goals per match divided by 2.20, and titles divided by 3, then multiplied by 10. Weights are 0.88 for goals, 0.06 for goals per match and 0.06 for titles, and the order matches those weighted scores. Cristiano Ronaldo also has 11 goals, in 27 matches, so he sits outside this 10 on the tie-break.
