Malaysia's satay β skewered chicken or beef marinated in turmeric and lemongrass, grilled over charcoal, and served with ketupat rice cakes and a rich peanut sauce β differs from its Thai and Indonesian cousins in its particular sweetness and the complexity of its accompanying peanut gravy.
