Bako National Park Coast, Sarawak
Bako's jagged coastline of sea stacks, sea arches, and isolated bays is among Borneo's most dramatic, accessible only by boat from Kuching, and conceals beaches where proboscis monkeys wade in the shallows at low tide. The park's extraordinary biodiversity — pitcher plants, bearded pigs, monitor lizards, and dozens of primates — make it Sarawak's most rewarding single day trip.
