Namhaedo

Namhaedo, connected by the Namhae Bridge to the South Gyeongsang coast, is home to the unique German Village—a community of Korean returnees from West Germany built in European architectural style—and terraced rice paddies carved into steep seaside hillsides. The Coastal Road 3 circuit by bicycle is one of the finest cycling routes in southern Korea, making it accessible to casual riders. The island also features the Boriam Hermitage perched on a cliff and the Gacheon Daero seaside road, which draws 500,000 visitors yearly.
