Gaya Mountains Horseshoe (Gayasan)

The Gaya Mountains Horseshoe circuit in South Gyeongsang Province ends at Haeinsa Temple, housing 81,258 Tripitaka Koreana wooden blocks—the world's most complete 13th-century Buddhist canon. This is the only hiking trail in Korea that terminates at a UNESCO heritage site of this magnitude, and the 12-kilometer ridge descent through dense deciduous forest is 20% quieter than the average popular Korean trail.
