Soyou built her reputation as one of K-pop's most successful ballad and duet vocalists, first through Sistar and then through a string of collaborations. Her 2014 duet with Junggigo, "Some," was one of the best-selling digital singles in Korean chart history, topping the Gaon Digital Chart for months. That reputation as a go-to ballad collaborator has carried through her solo career.
