Ben Fiddich

Ben Fiddich is a small upstairs bar in Nishi-Shinjuku where Hiroyasu Kayama builds drinks from herbs and botanicals grown on his family's farm in Saitama, often ground to order with a mortar and pestle at the counter. There is no printed menu - you say what you are in the mood for and he makes it. It is a cocktail bar rather than an izakaya.
