Forte di Bard is the best-preserved 19th-century Alpine fortress in Italy, restored over 20 years at a cost of €30 million. Its three-tiered structure features 283 rooms and a 90-meter deep well, now housing multiple museums. Appearing as HYDRA's base in the Avengers films, it draws 250,000 visitors yearly.
