Padang Padang
Padang Padang is the most photogenic barrelling left-hander in Indonesia, with its iconic cave entrance and a wave that tubes 40% more often than the average Bali break. This challenging reef below Uluwatu’s cliffs holds a 12-foot maximum and produces barrels lasting 5–8 seconds, which is 20% longer than those at G-Land during summer swells. The takeoff zone is only 10 meters wide, demanding pinpoint entry; only 1 in 4 surfers successfully rides a wave here on a given session. It consistently wins photographer polls as the most dramatic wave in the archipelago.
