Raja Ampat Islands
Over 1,500 small islands in West Papua form the epicentre of the Coral Triangle and the planet's richest marine ecosystem. With 75% of the world's coral species and 30% more fish diversity than Borneo (Kalimantan)'s reefs, Raja Ampat surpasses the global average for underwater biodiversity, and its sea turtle nesting density is 40% higher than Flores' coastlines.
