Produces oxygen at night. Survives weeks without water.
Formerly classified as Sansevieria, the snake plant is an architectural stunner that converts CO2 to oxygen at night — one of the few plants that does. It survives weeks without water, handles anything from bright indirect light to near-darkness, and its stiff, sword-shaped leaves add a modern sculptural look to any room. NASA included it in their Clean Air Study. Overwatering is the only thing that kills it.
