Garrincha was never on the losing side in a World Cup match — he played 11 games and won every single one across 1958 and 1962. In 1962, with Pelé injured early, he carried Brazil to the title with 4 goals and a Player of the Tournament award. His right leg was notably shorter than his left, making his dribbling physically inexplicable to defenders.
