Raul Gonzalez was Real Madrid's defining player for over a decade, becoming the club's all-time leading scorer with 323 goals before Cristiano Ronaldo surpassed the mark. Elegant, intelligent and prolific, Raul won three UEFA Champions League titles with Madrid (1998, 2000, 2002) and six La Liga championships. He earned 102 caps for Spain and for many years was the national team's talisman, scoring 44 goals in an era before Spain reached their golden generation.
