The Who
Formed in London in 1964, The Who sold over 100 million records and were pioneers of the concept album with Tommy (1969), rock's first opera. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, they were celebrated for explosive live shows and Pete Townshend's windmill guitar style.
