Nirvana

Formed in Aberdeen, Washington in 1987, Nirvana sold over 75 million records and defined the grunge and alternative rock movements of the 1990s. Their 1991 album Nevermind has sold 30 million copies and its release is widely credited with ending the dominance of hair metal.
