Winston Rodney is the patriarch of roots reggae, channelling Marcus Garvey pan-Africanism through hypnotic grooves. His album Marcus Garvey (1975) is considered one of the greatest reggae records ever made. Won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album.
