Antonio Vivaldi

Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons (1723) remains the most performed and recorded Baroque orchestral work, with over 4,000 commercial recordings available. His output of over 500 concertos and nearly 50 operas transformed the concerto form, creating a structured three-movement model that directly influenced Johann Sebastian Bach, who transcribed ten of Vivaldi's concertos for keyboard.
