Ronaldo (R9) redefined the striker position with explosive pace and clinical finishing, winning two Ballon d'Or awards (1997, 2002). He scored 62 goals in 98 caps for Brazil, including 8 goals in the 2002 World Cup, with two in the final against Germany—the only Brazilian to score twice in a World Cup final since Pele in 1958. His 62 international goals are 14 more than Zico's 48, making him the third-highest Brazilian scorer of all time.
