Ruud Gullit
Ruud Gullit captained the Netherlands to their only major tournament victory at Euro 1988, scoring the opening goal in the final against the Soviet Union. Gullit remains the only Dutch male to win the Ballon d'Or twice, the first in 1987 and the second in 1989, a feat unmatched by any other Dutch player.
