Kentucky Breakfast Stout is an 12.2% ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee and chocolate, then aged in bourbon barrels. When Founders first released it in 2003, people lined up around the block. KBS proved that craft beer could be an event — a once-a-year experience that justified standing in freezing Michigan weather at 6 AM for a four-pack.
