Chateau de Chambord

Chambord reigns as the largest chateau in the Loire Valley, a hunting lodge for King Francis I covering over 5,500 m² and housing 440 rooms. Its double-helix staircase, attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, remains a masterpiece of engineering, allowing two people to ascend without meeting.
