Took AMD from $2 to $210/share. MIT PhD. Cousin-in-law of Jensen Huang.
Lisa Su turned AMD from near bankruptcy in 2014 into a $230+ billion semiconductor giant. Su holds a PhD from MIT and joined AMD when its stock was $2; it peaked above $210. Under her leadership, AMD's Ryzen processors broke Intel's CPU monopoly, and the MI300X AI accelerator is the only credible competitor to NVIDIA's H100. As Jensen Huang's cousin-in-law, she offers a unique family comparison in the AI chip race.
