Radboud Castle
Built by Count Floris V in 1287, its circular keep stands 28 meters tall, 10 meters taller than Ammersoyen Castle’s tower. The castle endured three sieges, with canon ball damage still visible on its south face. Its proximity to water allows 45% of visitors to arrive by boat annually, making it more water-accessible than typical landlocked fortresses. Entry costs €13, including a guided tour of the 15 original rooms.
