Ammersoyen Castle
Ammersoyen Castle offers the most complete original 14th-century interior of any moated castle in the Netherlands, with over 95% of its original building fabric intact. Its kitchen, great hall, and chapel present 600 years of furnishings unchanged, including a medieval bread oven that still works. The moat remains 4 meters deep, dug in 1340 to deter attackers. Guided tours cost €14.50, covering 95% of the original structure.
